The Magic Door

I wrote this description of a imaginary place, using similies, metaphors, activated nouns and strong verbs so the reader could imagine the place clearly. Here is my description.

As I walk up the stone path, I go through the dusty, dirty, rusty door with three locks. As I walk through, the world changes to the secret world. I walk between the ragged walls, as the dark green vines creep like snakes in the jungles of Africa. I leap effortlessly over the bumps like a jumping spider. The tough dark floor has millions of fossils. I take the fossils and keep on going. The dark walls come in like the jaws of a crocodile. I walk as if someone with a car is chasing me. I'm out of my world. The door creeps closed and locks itself. Now I go and hide my fossils and run away.

Fish Sculpture

Hi my name is Ashlee and I'm nine years old.

I have made a fish sculpture for my home work. As you can see I have used.....
  • bark pieces
  • spray paint
  • shells/stones
  • a long piece of steal
  • and some bath salts /skinny wood to make the base

I have had soo much fun making the sculpture but I did have help from my dad. It took a lot of concentration, patience.
I hope you like my statue.

House Sculpture

Good morning/afternoon
Today I'm going to show and speak to you about my creation for imagination plus I got the idea when I remembered our house was getting painted so I decided to make my dream house. It really looks like my dream house. What did use? Well I used an old shoe box, I also used a coke bottle, some paper that had already been used, a plastic cup and some craft sticks. I would change where the rooms are and how the chimney is set out. I didn't have any problems.

My Ukelele Sculpture

Good morning room 16. For my imagination plus I chose to make a guitar because I like to play the guitar. I made my guitar out of an ice cream container, wood, some nails and fishing line. It was not easy making it. It took me and my dad about half an hour to find the wood and then we had to cut the bottom of it in the shape of the ice-cream container lid, which was a struggle because my dad's jigsaw blade kept coming off and when we wanted to make a hole in the ice-cream container we could not find the right size drill bit. When I was making it I kept hitting my thumb with the hammer because the nails were small so it was hard to hit it and the hooks kept breaking because they are only my mum’s art ones. Once I got all the fishing line on, I tried playing it and it was perfect.

Futuristic Building Sculpture

Good Afternoon/Morning my name is Alex and today I am here to explain my sculpture. This is my sculpture, I modeled it on my idea of a futuristic house. These materials are commonplace in any household but are not easy to put together. The main body of my sculpture is a Milo can wrapped in a bicycle chain that has been spray painted gold. The middle section is a tuna can spray painted gold with a bike chain wrapped around it and the top section is a budget baked beans can and some craft meshy stuff. Problems did I hear someone say problems oh yeah I had loads of problems. No 1 Mum could not find the silver spray paint , she spent half the day looking for it and then realized we did not even have any . No 2 The gold spray paint didn’t even dry after 40 minutes. No 3 Hot glue gun had no effect at all. Well you get the idea. My finished product differs from my original idea simply because I did not have the materials .
